The history of cat cafes.

It's because it's hard to find it's called treasure.

Did you know the world's first cat cafe only came to existence in 1998 in Taiwan, Taipei called the Cat Flower Garden? What's more, it wasn't even popular when it first opened, truly an unbelievable fact considering how much traction cat cafes get nowadays.

It was only later when a local tv program showcased this cafe with a unique twist did it gain popularity with the locals. Then from there on more and more journalists came to sink their teeth into this new trend setter, making it more popular not only with the people of Taiwan but also many tourists.

Many of those tourists were from Japan and just a few years later in 2004, Japan's first cat cafe opened in Osaka called "Neko No Jikan" which translates to cat's time.

Now Japan hosts more than 150 cat cafes with almost a third of them are situated in Tokyo.

The third country to open up cat cafes was in North America in 2014. Now almost every country have cat cafes sprinkled throughout their land.

Which makes it all the more interesting and surprising to hear the fact that there isn't even a single cat cafe in Kerala. Even more suprising is that there is none in Delhi.

The only places in India that have cat cafes with proof of cats living inside the cafe was in Maharashtra and Karnataka. (Note: this is not a confirmed fact due to lack of information in the internet about cat cafes in india, but that itself is a sign that I'm right.)

I know this might be a disappointing revelation for many cat lovers who wanted to visit cat Cafes but worry not my dear companion, worry not cause I'm gonna make sure I build my own cat cafe in Kerala. On top of that I will work even harder to make it a success so I can expand my empire and bring the light of cat cafes to every corner of India.

Though I say that one person can't make a difference and even though I did say don't steal my dream, I would rather see people who are working towards the same dream along side me as both friends and rivals.

That said, it's hard to find people like that cause I myself am an anomaly. Well if that's what it cost to original, then I will gladly be one.
